Every year, Chai & Bar takes part in the campaign and provides you with the opportunity to buy “En Primeur” wines as and when they are released.
Devised and created by the wine merchants of Bordeaux some 200 years ago, the system was for many years strictly reserved for professionals before being extended to private individuals. It allows estates to sell their new vintage while it is still being aged, and deliver it two years later once it is bottled.

For wine lovers, the sale of “en primeur” wines ensures the availability of their favourite wines, while also providing them with access to grands crus that are often highly sought-after and rare. Several formats are available: half-bottles, bottles, magnums, etc. The “en primeur” price of a wine is generally lower than its sales price once bottled. Payment of the total cost of the wine, including tax, is made when the order is placed. Any transport costs are paid at the time of delivery, two years later.
