Mme de Jessey at the Domaine du Closel in Savennières. is very demanding of the flint soils, uses a winemaking process that gives the Chenin a very pure expression when young, which becomes more complex with ageing.

Joël Gigou is on of the best producers from the tiny region of Jasnières (40 km. north of Tours). His Chenin Blanc wines are pure and mineral with a delicious bouquet of honey and white flowers.
