Rhône Valley

For nearly 20 years , the wine makers and producers of the Rhône Valley have strived to get the best out of their exceptional terroir, enabling them to join the restricted circle of the best wine-making regions in the world.

In the North, Hermitage, Cornas, Crozes-Hermitage, Saint Joseph and Côte-Rotie express the Syrah grape, striking the right balance between strength and finesse.
In the South, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas and Vacqueyras produce very deep, hearty wines.
The white wines of the Rhône Valley are rich, full-bodied and mineral. Wines that people can no longer live without once they've tried them!

Jean-Luc Colombo is recognised as one of the best oenologists in the Rhône Valley - something that is clearly reflected in his branded wines (Taste "Les Forots"!) But Jean-Luc Colombo is also a wine-maker who, together with his wife Anne, knows the secret of getting the best wines from their steep vineyard in Cornas, such as Les Ruchets. We have selected:

  • Red:
    • Cornas : Les Ruchets, La Louvée, Les Terres Brûlées.
    • Saint Joseph : Les Lauves
    • Hermitage : Le Rouet,
    • Côte-Rôtie : La Divine,
    • Côtes-du-Rhône : Les Forots,
  • White:
    • Condrieu : Amour de Dieu
    • Côtes-du-Rhône : Les Abeilles

Château de La Gardine: one of the most highly reputed producers at Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Deep, complex, elegant wines.

  • Châteauneuf-du-Pape: red and white
