06 November 2012 - News, Wine tastings, Château Brown

On the 9th November 2012, in its new store situated in Fort Jaco, Chai & Bar invites you to discover the wines of Château Brown, a reputed vineyards in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. The wine tasting (two vintages, both red and white wines) will be led by the representative of the Château, Agathe De Langhe.

In order to maintain Brown among the best wines from the Graves region, the Mau family has chosen Stéphane Derenoncourt, a famous oenologist in Bordeaux, to produce the red wine (23.5 hectares) of the Château. Soft and round, the wines release ripe black fruits, leather and soft spices flavours. They have a long ageing potential.

Philippe Dulong, another prominent figure of the Pessac-Léognan area, produces the white wines (5.5 hectares) of Château Brown. They express white exotic fruits and acacia honey aromas, with a remarkable freshness.

Two famous and high-quality Bordeaux wines available at affordable prices.
